Character Education is one of my main focuses. This fact is instantly evident to anyone entering my classroom. "After exploring the limited resources available to actually illustrate to elementary school children the value and meaning of the words: Trustworthiness, Respectful, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, Citizenship, I decided to create my own strategical approach. In addition, to get them to internalize the meaning of the Character Counts Pledge (which is so often recited daily with apathy), I created visual and audio flash movies that begin to bring the Character Education objectives to life."
