Play a Stringed Instrument In Concert

TUNE your instrument here!

Strings gives students the opportunity to learn to play a violin, viola, cello or bass, learn music in more detail, develop repertoire, technique, develop self-esteem, and perform in concerts. If a student does not own/rent their own instrument, it is possible the school can loan them an instrument free of charge (A Loan Agreement must be signed).

Strings perform at least six concerts every school year. Soloists perform even more often; sometimes with their instrument accompanied by the piano and/or within the Chorus or Band which enhances the performance and musical experience.

All ensemble members attend special symphonic performances and music assemblies during each school year.

Sometimes students that play stringed orchestral instruments can be integrated into the bands for selected pieces.
